BRSCC NW Website

Does anyone know what's happened to this. It hasn't been there for a couple of days now?

I have just accessed it via the main BRSCC link. Try again, it could have been a temporary fault?

Thanks for the comments, must be something to do with my favourites set up. I can get through BRSCC as you say Stephen and if I enter the address I go in okay. Re-saved as favourite and it works again. Thanks

Unless you are a marshall its not very up to date though is it......I think Diz is to busy prattling on on ten tenths or playing with his caravan....or maybe now he is a race organiser he is above such things

I'm sure your right Chris, but I don't know him so I thought it better to direct my insults at Diz.
Your quite right about www.clubff1600.co.uk It's going from strength to strength.

It is Andrew Brewer, he's the tall guy who's secretary at Anglesey meetings - usually in the office with Tom. I thought Ian had promised and imminent "drivers" update but Jason's comment seems to make that unlikely?
Oh, and I enjoy both sites!

He's also the guy in the BMW that tries to overtake you on the slowing down laps as he goes to supervise the crossing at lodge!

kartingdad has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Andrew Brewer is the parts manager at Bluebell BMW. I think they are in knutsford or wilmslow. Go to BT.com and use their online directory enquiries service...

Blue Bell are in Wilmslow/Handforth but Andrew's contact details (is that what you meant?) are on the BRSCC NW website

Don't knock the NW website. Andrew can only put on info he is told. Driverwise, the winter is "slow news time" The NBW site is one of the best club sites going.
Is "Ian had promised and imminent "drivers" update" me, or Mr Sowman? The latter has been promising driver profiles for some time now on Club.

Regarding driver profiles on clubff1600: they are quite a long way down the list of priorities. Top priority is keeping the news and comment up to date and comprehensive. It's no good having nice driver profiles if the site isn't regularly updated for what is happening now.

On a related subject, we had very few responses to our request for what people are doing this year. If you don't tell us your news, you're unlikely to get it on the site!

Ian, I can confirm that I will not be racing in FF1600 this year.

There's a story for you

Ian, glad to have you back. I certainly wasn't knocking the NW site - I did say I enjoy both! I mean that.

I'd be keen to see Ian Sowman's driver profiles in due course but I did mean you. Last time I saw you, you mentioned a newsletter for around the New Year - just wondering when? No pressure but the earlier comment was that all recent detail on the site was relating to marshalling.

Now I'm back online, I will get stuck in and your 'eagerly expected' newsletter won't be too far away.

Note for swift

Is Gus willing to pen a Pre season piece?

We're lucky in the NW to have a club that will let us use their webspace for marshalling matters.
Of course, the BMMC should be the proper place to look for the BMMC newsletter, but until it's website is up and running as it should be, then I'm glad we still have somewhere to give us news etc.
