Hot Gossip Regarding Team Dynamik
Lets address the complexities later....The latest Adelaide whispers are...
Team Dynamik employees have been reassured of 12 more months in Adelaide. Employees have had meetings with Kieron Wills and Kevin Weeks....ex F/Holden...ex Kart...Adelaide real estate / building trade heavyweight Make no mistake ,though... there seems to be an unpopular figure in the midst...could there be a change in the technical leadership, if`thats what it was.. Not a lot of leadership from the man who used to have the suspension of the Oh-Oh car in a million bits between the warm-up's & the first race........
" I know how to fix it Craig, trust me it will handle much better" |

Mr Weeks has been involved for much of 2005 already... the Superloc branding on the Dynamik cars is one of his business enterprises....

supaloc.com.au
The same Supaloc who sponsor the Adelaide based sprint car team in WSS with that great Yank punter Jason Johnson - Tatnell & Dumesny were too good last Saturday night at Avalon.
www.supaloc.com.au are a most professional sponsor. Gossip - only saw one V8SC driver. |

The whole Dynamik/Longhurst shambles is just pathetic. I object to being treated like a mushroom....particularly being fed gushing press releases which now appear to bear no resemblance to reality. They are both welcome to each other.

Given the current state of play, the whole thing is a waste of two franchises.

longhurst is an egotistic maniac that was been cared his whole racing career by people around him that's why his trouble and a waste of a franchise is Orrcon/Larkham Motorsport not TD

I lost interest in TD when Malcolm Ramsay left. The only bloke in the crew of originators with some racing nouse.
Mind you, they keep finding sponsors... |

Oh goody, a team Dynamik bash
I would much rather see a team approaching people well outside the normal stream than just milk everyone else's sponsor each season. Lets not forget Team Dynamik brought Dodo into the sport, who funded a part of the Tasman team this season..... Sponsor finding is absolute luck... sure you can do the homework and make all the calls, and chase all the people, but in the end, the sponsor needs to be upright and honest about what they want from the sponsorship, and their capacity to pay.... ....Holy Grail and Platinum Oz Equities to name but two..... |

Oran park 2004... a big "Oz" sticker on the doors of the Dynamik cars.... with the bos of that company rocking up in a BMW 7 series with all the armour plating.... drove right up to the back of the pit garage too....
Seemed to do the dance, but not flash the cash... another dead end |

So how much of this team's future hangs on the decision of Mr Cattach?
Are these sponsorship arrangements being made on the premise that they will get a wild card for the #44 car next year? Surely LMS #20 will get one, but when it comes to Dynamik versus Britek, who knows. What an interesting way to have the future of your business decided on. Let’s hope that one day VSA realise that these wild card rules actually affect people's livelihoods, and maybe then they will stop copying their rules from the back of the Uno cards box. |

As the 2005 rules stand, if enforced similarly in 2006, the #44 Team Dynamik L1 franchise licence slot will be guaranteed a start in all races in 2006.
That said, I dont know why they were chosen to miss races in 2005... technically the team is in breach of its licence agreement by not showing up at 100% of the rounds with that franchise. It is unclear within the TEGA hotchpotch of an agreement which section is more important than another section... methinks they make it up as the Kelvinmonster goes along.... ... but any L1 franchise licence slot should in theory be safr from the wildcard hell! |
