I'd like to give to both Alonso or Button for getting their McLarens, with their dogs of PUs, from the back of the grid to a more than respectable 13th and 14th. Anyway, I can't and Button seemed to have the worst of it, so he gets it.

Kyvat for me. I enjoyed his last stint coming through the field as it added some excitement to an otherwise surprisingly turgid Belgian GP.

Grosjean stood out for me. While he showed during qualifying that he had speed, it still was good to fight his way forward. Kvyat is a very close second for me.

Grosjean for me. Although without the tyre explosion he wouldn't have got Vettel, which is a bit of a negative because he should have been much faster.

Kyvat was good too, but he did benefit a bit from pitting when Vettel should have, that group of Perez, Massa, Kimi really dropped off a lot more than they should have, especially with Vettel still doing consistent 1m 55s.

Vettel should have pitted in hindhight, he would have been past them all easily, but to keep those tyres going as long as they did was a good job.

Hamilton was only 2s clear of Nico, despite Nico having to pass a few cars so he wasn't great. 40s ahead of 3rd place though, those Mercedes' domination is depressing isn't it?

Max Verstappen.

If McLaren drivers beating Marussians is counted as impressive, then Max going from the back to 8th and doing his now usual amazing passes is worth a vote.

I rated Kvyat. He did some of the good passes of Verstappen, but they were a lot safer.

Hehe yeah what about that outside move Max did. Obviously didn't watch the GP2 race or he may have held back there. Crazy stuff.

He'll learn eventually to calm down, probably the hard way, but he is exciting to watch.

Fat John, because his achievement was a big step forward on recent performances. I hope it will also provide a boost to the team which is obviously in a precarious position. (By the way, message to Eddie Jordan: the Lotus uses Mercedes engines, not Renault.)

Full marks to Lewis Hamilton of course, who was dominant. But these days, dominant is just ordinary with him.

Kvyat did well.

Verstappen's overtake at Blanchimont was scarily impressive, but it reflected the nature of modern circuits. If there's no room on the track, use the run-off area instead.

Do we really want drivers to calm down? He's not hit anything or caused major problems, and yet his driving is pretty interesting. I'd like him to keep at it!!

Well there a few to choose from :-

RoGro - Getting a third place was good for him. He hasn't really sparkled much this season. He was helped by Vettel's tyre - but still, kudos to him.

Kyvat - An impressive performance at Spa.

Verstappen - That overtake has to be the pass of the season.

Hamilton - Dominant performance. I suspect he wasn't pushing it too the limit, as he just seemed to be faster than Nico - hence why the gap wasn't that large. Maybe, if the Ferraris had qualified behind the Mercedes then he might have been under more pressure.

Going to give it to Hamilton. Not his most outstanding performance - but still pretty good - got pole, made a decent start(unlike Hungary) and won, at a track that he hasn't been that lucky with in the past. 80th podium as well - like his hero Senna.

Yep, and by a country mile. He had no electrical power for the whole race – 160/180bhp down.

Dear God, what is it coming to when you get a gadzillion grid-drops for improving the power of your engine and then can't compete because the bloody electrical engine doesn't work? Whatever would Ayrton think...
