There are indeed.
There are also one or three missing cars - any word on the following: TMSR Lexus IS200s GR Alfa 147s or Focus' Brooklands Focus Mardi Gras Honda Civics HTML Peugeot 306s JLM Alfa 156s |

i think smeones just thrown a whole load of names and cars together, www.tocatour.com dosnet say anything, and whats this Beacon Motorsport having Accords, along with Boon AND B&Q? there was only 4 accords this year (wasnt there?) so how can there be 6? unless some have been built since, and how is Spencer Marsh driving both a GA alfa, and an accord, cos that list says hes in the 156, but redshoes-racing.com says hes in the accord? i think someones having us on here!

I think Beacon and Boon are one in the same... one of the cars is to be driven by Spencer Marsh - no mention anywhere of him driving a GA 156 as far as I can see ? Or am I going mad ?

Hmmm...Ceefax have said there's been an entry list but there seem so many names missing this one seems unlikely. Pluys tocatour.com or autosport dont say anything.

I spoke to HTML recently and it was indicated to me that they would be going to Europe! I may have misunderstood, but I dont think we will see HTML in this seasons BTCC.
But I guess HTML may still have the capacity to prep and service a production car that is not their own! We shall see!! Kelvin Last edited by Kelvin; 27 Feb 2002 at 19:00. |

Where are the Lexuses because we know to have been confirmed, we know that there are two Alfa 147's testing out there, so I would deem that list false.

Lexus has indeed confirmed. It was in my last Autosport. There was also the report of the 2 private MGs, of Garteh Howell and that other guy who's name eludes me right now, they were confirmed (at least by Autosport).
HTML is indeed going to Europe. I think they were supposed to run a set of Alfa 156s. |

Lexus is in and GR Motorsport is fielding the Alfas in the Touring Class and the Focuses in Production. VLR will announce two drivers for the 2002 BTCC season in the 406 Coupes.

I know what you mean, but if the story is good enough to get into Autosport then I'm assuming it's offical. |

Today at MG, inside the Longbridge works, where there is real tough security, and everyone at the presentation was on an invited guest list, the band still had some bodyguards, hard lookings geezas with walkie talkies. I did think it was a bit OTT for what was a closed event. Somehow I can't see them mingling with joe public! |

Well it was the launch of the car. You can't expect the launches to be 100% open to the public.

I'm glad somebody else is of the age where they remember quality TV!
Half of the rest of this lot would only remember Rocky, sorry I mean Neil Morrissey, as that dozy pillock in Men Behaving Badly, as opposed to the dozy pillock he played in Boon. Hmm... typecast perhaps? Wonder if you can get a season review video of Boon? |
