LMP900 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
How good will Gordon Shedden be?

Gordon Shedden and GR Motorsport, it sounds like a marriage made in heaven but then the name Alfa Romeo comes along and turns the dream into a nightmare.

That's my vision anyway, GR are good but I'm afraid they're not good enough for the troublesome 147. They should have gne for a certain black lexus.

But it's good that they are coming, right? it brings another car to a series which is regaining it's former glory fast, now all we need is Lexus, Ford, Renault and Nissan and all is happy!

No, I think it could be a good package, JSM were on their way to stron performance last year, but all those blown engines got too expensive, so if GR can get a genuinely BTCC class engine for the car it'll be competitive. Gordon Sheddon is a class driver who in the right car could take on Leslie and Reid for the crown of Scotland's best Touring Car racer.

I think GR will get the Alfa sorted this year. Please lose the black, it made it look ridiculuous last year.

All Alfas should be red, whether a factory entry or not. They look much better. You wouldnt paint a Ferrari british racing green!

The alfa showed brief signs of being good last year. I hope it is competitive and Sheddon can battle with the others.

BTW, I quite liked the black paint last year, not sure about the pink on it though. An alfa red one would look good too though.

The engine will be sorted by Mountune, that should be one hell of an engine, if my lawnmower is anything to go by..
No, on a serious note, Gordon is a fantastic driver as he has proved over the years,it`s good to have him back in racing.
I wonder what he could have done in the Tuscan R, i guess we will never know..

If Gordon was in an Astra he'd win the championship hands down. I don't think it's fair calling last seasons car an Alfa Romeo really, it was a "JSM Shed" IMO. I'm quite confident of what this Alfa will achieve, Mountune also build this years VLR Peugeot and Proton engines...

The JSM Alfa last year did nothing for alfa romeo. It made me laugh at all road going 147's but I do admit now they are good cars.

I hope when GR run it at Thruxton its a flyer, and a red flyer please!
and hopefully it won't go boom every 5 seconds like last year. Im surprised AR didnt make them take the badges off it, thats how embarrasing it was.

GR did have the car painted in the teams Metallic blue, but I am assured that we will see a Red Alfa.

"We hope to run the car in Alfa Romeos traditional Red"
