Too brave, too fast and ..... too soon to die. Like the brightest comet passing through, it was brief and spectacular. RIP, Stefan.

Along with Gilles Villeneuve, Stefan was my other all time hero.
I had the pleasure of meeting him three times, first at Thruxton just after a wheel had fallen off round the back in practice, secondly at the British Grand Prix and finally on the Saturday night in a Zandvoort street during the Dutch GP weekend.
Relatively quiet, almost shy, bigger things were on the horizon for him.
With hindsight, I have to agree with John.
Immensly talented, incredibly brave, I for one miss witnessing his car control that only a few past or present can claim to have.
R.I.P. Stefan, cant believe its 20 years already.
