Next Years Engine Supplies
I was wondering if anyone knew anything about any of the major engine companies supplying a second team? I hear Sauber are going with BMW next year so are Ferrari still gonna supply another team? Also is there any news on who will supply Jordan, Minardi and Red Bull Racing?
What became of the idea they should all supply a second team. This could give scope to potentially bump the number of teams back up to 14, which I would love to see. I watched many an exiting midfield battle in the late 80's/early 90's between privateer teams which added huge entertainment value. It allowed many a GP Winner to learn his trade the fun way before being picked up by the bigger teams. |

I'd imagine Minardi will remain with Cosworth, Jordan-Midland with Toyota or Ferrari and Red Bull with Honda.
We may also see a Team Dubai McLaren-Mercedes pairing - Ron Dennis indicated at the weekend that's still an active project. |
