Carbon Monoxide in Nascar
Saw this on RPM and they said that TS had to get oxygen when his crush panels got well crushed,what can Nascar do further correct the problem?

Didn't Kyle Petty come up with some kind of filter for that? On the bigger track I think they have an outside hose routed into the helmet for a fresh air supply, but I don't know if they do this on the short tracks.

Ahhhhh, I love the smell of burned fuel !!!
That is one of the things I love about going to the racetrack. But too much of a "good thing" could be harzardous I bet. |

yeah but to much of that pleasant woozy feeling is bad for you!! it's a bit like drink but it kills you quicker!
I think the only way to stop the fumes is a fighter pilot style oxgen mask, either with a filter or an oxygen bottle... the oxygen bottle isn't going to down well because it's heavy. |
