Mallory Park - August 8

There seems to be a little confusion about this coming weekend at Mallory.

There IS a meeting there and it is organised by the Morgan Sports Car Club. At one point BARC had a date there but this was scrubbed some months ago and replaced by this event. I'm sure they will be short of marshals, but I'm sure some of you would be keen to support the event, including as it does the Edwina Overend Memorial Trophy for FF1600s.

I don't have the details of who is chief marshal and how you should volunteer - hopefully Fay or someone might know and will supply that information! I just wanted people to know that this event is on!

G Tanner should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
As Ian said, the event is on this weekend and is organised by the Morgan Sports Car Club. It's a 9 Race programme including Morgans's (obviously), Edwina Overend Trophy for FF1600, Sports / Saloons etc. Practice kicksoff at 0930 with 1st Race at 1330.

Chief Marshal is Michael Cartwright for whom I can pass on details if you PM me.

I've got this down on my calendar, but I don't know if it's the original meeting or this one. Gary, is it possible to check if I'm on the list and add me if not? I think crazystu may be coming with me too, but that's not confirmed yet.

It's good to see people volunteering as a result of reading this thread - makes posting it seem worthwhile!

Numbers are now starting to look quite good.

Looks like Edwinas will be used for the 3 wheeler Morgan races.
