Was someone looking for a picture of James Weaver? I can't find the thread it was on.
Taken at Brands early 80's I think, |

Taken Brands 1979
Wasn't that Reynard SF79 of Leslie's a beautiful looking car? And then the ground effects SF80 looked awful and went worse. Proof if ever was needed of the old adage that if it looks right it usually is right. Chris |

Chris
Think AR tried to do a ground effects FF2000 in 1980, cocked it up big time ! Agree the SF79, and the 78 and 81 cars were very nice lookers. That Tiga's a bit of a mess too I always thought. |

There was a Tiga F3 car as well but as I remember it was not immediately on the pace and James reverted to a Ralt .
The F3 Tiga may well have been driven by the late Ian Taylor as well - anyone got a picture of it ? |

The Tiga F381 came out at the very end of that year, Weaver used it for 2-3 races I recall, finishing 4th I think at one race. Looked similar to the Atlantic car of that year which Ian Taylor drove, neither on the pace of the Ralts though. Don't know what happened to the F3 car, I never saw it in any records after that.

Does anyone recall the massive shunt that Weaver had at Mallory Park in a Sports 2000 (think that was a Tiga (red), as well). Going through the Esses, the thing just kept turning right and went nose first into the foot of the bank down from Devil's Elbow. I think he broke a leg, but could be wrong. Was only about 10 at the time.
