TV coverage of WTCC round one

Eurosport website (international) says that the warm-up will be shown live, as well as both races - with two hours given to cover the event.

GT suffers somewhat as Eurosport are covering Motorcycling all afternoon. Incidentally, Eurosport has scheduled the first champcar race live aswell that evening.

April 10th is going to be a busy day!

The chances of British Eurosport doing that as well - probably nil!

Yeah, I never took the analogue one down...comes in handy for picking up german channels still transmitting p...err, F1, DPM etc. the only english speaking channel left on it is 'Euro'-Eurosport.

As MotorsTV, will show the highlights for the races, I bet they're show it quicker than what British Eurosport will.

Eurosport have taken Champcars and instantly decided not to show it live. That's clever.

To say the least - here's my schedule for Sunday:

Taping with DVD recorder
11:15 - 14:15 --- FIA GT, live on Eurosport2
15:00 - 17:00 --- WTCC, live on Eurosport1
18:30 - 23:30 --- NEXTEL Cup, live on Viasat Sport 3

Taping with VCR
10:45 - 15:00 --- 125cc/250cc/MotoGP, live on Eurosport1
21:45 - 00:00 --- Champ Car, live(?) on Eurosport1

And that's not counting the various warm-up sessions and magazine shows (including the one for day three of the New Zealand rally) that will be shown

So the Champcars IS live on at least one of the 3 Eurosport channels?
And I have to fit in the BTCC and support races on Motors TV!

Since the race supposedly starts at 4pm ET US time it certainly looks like Int'l Eurosport will show the race live, yes (as 4pm ET is 10pm CET).

According to the Radio Times website Champ Car is on British Eurosport 1 live at 8:45-11pm on Sunday night. I haven't checked that with the Sky epg though so it could be wrong, but I doubt it.

No live FIA GT on either British Eurosport 1 or 2, just a mere 30 minute program, however they are showing the WTCC warmup and races live.

According to the EPG, Champcar is live on British Eurosport at 20:45 BST.

British Eurosport 2 is also showing the GT if I recall...but I probably presumed it was live...didn't spot if it was the 30 mins.

I looked this morning and FIA GT is live on Brit Eurosport 2 from 10:15am.

Glad the WTCC is getting decent coverage, should be a great debut season.
