Racetime- Whats happened?
I just noticed Racetime is not providing result link as of yesterday.Results from previous year do not seem accesible either. Anybody know the background? Or of the similar names demise on this forum dissappearance.

Racetime Computing no longer provides timing services for motor racing events. The databases are being pulled off the web, with links to Natsoft for now... however the website too shall be pulled down in the next month or so..

What about a lot of the historic data? I think a lot of info on that site is not on Natsoft. What is the reason?

It costs money to host the data... and if the primary business of providing race timing services is not in place, there is no requirement/capability for the data to be hosted.
You are right in that the site was a pioneer... and ran one of the first live timing systems in the world... years ago now... and could rerun the races... amazing stuff... lost now... |
