asha should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Who will Checa's team mate be?

Checa signed up early with Yamaha but with Max leaving who will take his spot? And who will sponsor the team?

Yamaha role call?
- OJ and Nakano seem to have M1's for next year.
- The redbull team of McCoy and Hopkins are going to be riding V5 honda's.
- Norick Abe?? I wonder what the score is with Antena 3 d'Antin team after the mess with Alex Criville not riding etc. i guess time will tell. The idea of Abe not riding is an impossiblity (and I guess he needs a teammate too - cause it certainly isn't going to be Riba)

So? a stab in the dark? Kenny Roberts Jr. making a return to Yamaha!? I think it would be good for him!

Has Kenny said he's leaving Suzuki? I know he's unhappy at their progress, but seeing how he's always complaining about something.....I doubt the would end up there anyway.

I would like to see Abe back on a factory machine and with his links to Yamaha, he could end up back there.

I can't see any clear favourite for the seat, but i'll take a stab in the dark and say Kenny Roberts Jnr. (i'm not sure he's leaving Suzuki though)

I would quite like to see Abe back on a Honda, as he was on his debut in 94.

Max Biaggi signs three year deal to ride RC211V with Pramac

Italian engineering giants Pramac have announced an agreement between themselves, HRC and Max Biaggi which will see the Italian ride a Honda RC211V for the next three seasons. Pramac made the announcement in Rio on Thursday, as they come to the end of their first season in MotoGP with Tetsuya Harada riding an NSR500.

`My company wants to invest in racing because we believe in the spirit that gives life to competitions,´ declared Pramac CEO Paolo Campinoti. `I am very happy to announce that we have achieved an important agreement with Honda and HRC for having in my team the four time 250cc World Champion Max Biaggi. We will stay together for three years.´

Biaggi, meanwhile, echoed the enthusiasm shown by his new employers: ´I was dreaming of racing with Honda again and Pramac made my dream come true,´ he said. `I have the enthusiasm and willing of a little boy. I can´t wait to start this new adventure. Honda is one of the most prestigious factories in the whole world and I´ll find a lot of old friends there.

Although I'm sure Yamaha will be able to find their own sponsorship, perhaps they will look for a rider who can add to that with their own personal backing. But he'd have to be talented, none of this putting a dud rider on a bike just because he happens to have a heap of money...

Hopkins is staying with Red Bull, who will be using Honda engines and some Jap. (Maruwaka or something like that) chassis.

Today I heard on Eurosport that Edwards is considering a MotoGP ride, most conveniantly Checa's teammate.

good! I rate him in the top three of riders at the moment so it will be great to see on a MotoGP bike. We need people who can give Rossi some hassle!
