Colin Blair
The sharper eyed amongst you may have spotted a new user who registered here last week by the name of Colin Blair. Just to be sure it was the right person I spoke briefly to Colin at Croft, and he told me he was too busy to post at the time. So Colin, here's a good opportunity to introduce yourself.

I saw Colin too redshoes. I hoped then he wasn't another 'James Thompson' character, remember a few months back?
C'mon Colin get posting! I'm a fellow Scot and you also share my name as well. |

Don't think it is, but would be nice if it was. I want to know if GA-Janspeed are moving up to BTCT next year with Gavin Pyper!

Well, according to this weeks Autosport, GA Janspeed is 'fine-tuning' the rollcage installment in the second Lexus IS200 for the Oulton race. Maybe they will get first refusal of the IS200's, or maybe their not for sale.
Also interesting to read that Barwell, HTML, GR Motorsport and GA Janspeed have talked with Triple 8 about buying Astras, but they are still too dear for the Production teams to buy. They would like them to be around 50-60k each, so they can run two cars in each team. |

hi redshoes/everybody...
I have just returned from a short holiday in the highlands and I know that I promised redshoes that I would post on the site so here I am.I have been reading with interest the various topics on the site and thought that I would join in the fun.Its not exactly been the best season of racing that I have ever had although the guys at GA/Janspeed are among the best.I have been struggling with various problems/incidents with the car and that hasn,t helped my progress, still I have oulton park to look forward to on sat/sun and hopefully I will go better there>>>> I will keep in touch from now via this site....all the best keep watching touring cars.. |

Welcome Colin, good to see you on here.
I was on my own at Croft, for Oulton I think most of the 'gang' will be there. I'm sure we'll be round to say hello and give you some support sometime during the weekend. You've been warned |

Nice to see another driver here Colin, welcome!
Hope to see you in the BTCT next year w/Gary Ayles and Gavin Pyper, in those stunning Alfa's. I think ABG have proved you can compete with the manufacturers even if you build a car from scratch. I really hope you guys at GA-J do that in 2002. |

hi hunttheshunt,
great user name especially concerning the last few rounds. It would be great to be in a touring car next year especially a right hand drive one with rear wheel drive!!! I have had a few chats to tommy erdos and think he is a great guy and he is starting to show what the lexus is capable of and when ga/janspeed are fully involved things should really get exciting. |

Hi Colin, welcome to 10 Tenths.
The traditional way for a new user to prove they are who they say they are is for them to do a spin in front of us at the next round. At Oulton we'll be at Knickerbrook... If you don't fancy that, a flash of the lights and a wave will do! Whatever, hope you have a good race next time out - we'll be cheering for ya. |

Hi Colin again, thanks for the compliment!
Just what is the arrangement with GA-J and ABG concerning the IS200? Hope to see you at a meeting this year and in a BTCT car next year! |

Welcome Tom, thought I saw you sneak on here earlier. Any (good) news on the engine problems yet?
That reminds me. Lorna, remember to go to Tescos before Friday. I promised the team you'd bring TWO bags of jelly babies this week. |

Sorry about this, I edited one post and the other dissapeared.
As I was saying, Tom, I went to Knockhill as I live in Scotland. But I'd really, really love to go to one of the last three meetings of the year, when the MG ZS is there. |

Sorry TL. Saw the double post and deleted one. You must have been editing at the same time.

A completely pointless post to ensure John's post wasn't last in the thread
Meanwhile, back at Colin Blair, what is the arrangement between ABG and GA-Janspeed?? |

GA Janspeed are putting finishing touches to the rollcage in the Lexus for Radermecker. Seemingly Tim Blake has split with ABG partner(forget his name), and says GA can make it faster than what his partner could.
