Bearman. Not only did he bring it home, he was aggressive, racy and scored points. Fantastic debut.

Without doubt Bearman. A solid and very level headed drive, from someone so young and on their debut.

The kid for sure!
Hot take on the back of an impressive first weekend, but can think of a few drivers who he should replace immediately… things don’t work that way anymore tho. Barring anymore one off drives, we won’t see him again for a year or two which seems a shame. |

Bearman without any doubt at all. Without his remarkable debut, the GP would have been ditchwater dull.

Bearman - calm, steady, good moves and a level head - you could have imagined him sounding more celebratory on the radio, but he described his race as 'not bad' and was talking about ways it could have been better.

This was the easiest DOGP ever: Oliver Bearman. A stunning drive with minimal warning or preparation. And with so many drive contracts running out at the end of the year, it was the perfect time to do it.

Another good contender is Oscar Piastri - a superb drive to 4th, I thought.

F1 cars are clearly not as difficult to master as in the past, but to step in at the last minute without full practice having never driven the car before and to finish solidly in the points - it is a remarkable achievement. Especially at this track there there is little room for error.
Some team bosses perhaps need to reconsider their line ups in the future rather than lazily turning to drivers who have been in F1 for a long time and not really done anything of note. |

Oliver Bearman for sure.
Bringing the car home in one piece, in the points, on a difficult and unforgiving circuit, has done his future no harm whatsoever, because everyone that matters in F1 will have seen it first hand. Of course, it can all go awry - look at Nyck De Vries... |

Rather surprised anyone voted other than Oliver.......can't imagine how difficult it must be to make that step up and perform so well.....

It had to be Bearman, what an amazing debut that was. I would like to see him compete in Australia too that is very much a possibility at the moment.
