is there any free software i can use to design a track, or at least make a layout/plan of a current track in use??

Well, I use MS Paint for mine. I use the style of the old racingcircuits.net website
Incidentally you can get nearly every real track in the world off there, or rather the back-up version after the original website went down http://theracingline.net/racingcircuits/racingcircuits/ |
