Russia, lots of penalties before we get to the results...

Maldonado carried the remaining 5 place grid penalty for a 6th engine into Russia, this was compounded by out of sequence gear box change added another 5 places so effectively a 10 place, and 20 point penalty for him, and 10 fr Lotus. The full Renault penalty as served in Japan.

Hulkenburg, Magnussen and Chilton all changed gearboxes out of sequence as well, so 10 point penalties each and 5 pointers to Force India, McLaren and Marussia as well.

Kobayashi (Brakes) and Chilton (Ride issue) failed to finish with Caterham and Marussia picking up 5 DNF penalty points.

As Agreed since Marussia decided to withdraw the Bianchi/Rossi car. I am for one race only, awarding 5 points in Bianchi's name.

Onto the results

CB2Racing takes their first round win of the season with 91 points, 3 ahead of Alcoholics Racing Team with 88points, and Rude Nose Racing in third on 83points.
This round was really close as proven by Tuk Tuk Racing and Magnussen Racing both scoring 82 points for equal fourth.

In the overall
Alcoholics Racing Team increase their lead by another 6 points over Tuk Tuk Racing, 1229 to 1186, a gap of 43 points. Racing for Sealand appears to be secure in third with 1115 points. The race is still on for 4th and 5th, with just 4 points between Little Hotels (1024pts) and Magnussen Racing (1020pts).


With 3 races remaining there is still time to make that all important driver change. The fantasy driver standing are show below together with the other tables of results.

Finally after several years of trying and nearly as many team names, finally i win a race, shame ferrari have had a rubbish season.
