Sorry i had my timing wrong, i see its working and Canada is suprisingly fast?
I this Will power is still working with his Champ car team in the US and so cannot be with the team. I have a feeling though that he or another Aussie racing in the US (Ryan Briscoe) might have a race when A1 reaches North America. What do you think? |

Practice 2 results - IRL, CAN, USA, CZE, FRA, BRA
Looks like the field is really closing up as the races go on - all the cars that set times in this practice were within 103% of the fastest time. |

could someone find out how many sets of tyres they have for this weekend, that could explain some of the times. australias times are easy to figure out. they have a rule that whoever out of will and christian gets the fastest times on friday races. christian goes out on fresh tyres first and will keeps the same tyres. nice guy christian is but sheesh

If these times are any indication of quali and race pace then we should have 2 great races. I hope that a few more teams can start challening France & Brazil for the honours this weekend. The likes of the Netherlands, GB,USA, N.Zealand are all capable of this i think. Cant wait!

I'm so impressed with Sean McIntosh he's been fantastic all season.
There's a video on the A1GP.com homepage with a few clips of practise, if anyone's interested. I'm so excited about this weekend - using the power boost button on the monster straights! There's gonna be so much action. |

Now I realise he does have a lot of talent, and is a real deal. Just hope the rest of Canada picks up on this. I noticed that one of the sports channels here showed a clip as a tune up for the event. A podium here (looking good in practise) should allow for the rest of Canada to jump onboard, I hope. |

Be impressed with John Village too, who are engineering Sean's car. It takes two to tango

We were robbed of an exciting quali session there. Just hoping that we don't get that sort of rain in the races tomorrow. Sounds like it's forecast, though...

Looking like this could be the weekend of a BIG battle up front - lots of teams looking competitive.

Indeed. I reckon any of the top dozen could be in with a shout, and there are plenty of overtaking opportunities.
Turns 1 and 2 look ominous for first lap collisions, though. |

If it is wet then I fear most of the races will be spent behind the safety car. Let's hope not

Fantastic sprint race! Such a shame France had to spoil it on the last lap with that double-block on Jani. Well done Robbie! Good start & stayed focused to keep ahead of Piquet after the pass by Premat.
It'll be a very interesting feature race - I reckon Jos will have a good shot at the podium starting from P5. |

Dams have it nailed - it would be cool if they were forced to share thier setup information !! i know it will never happen but it would show the other teams what thier doing wrong.
