ITV @ Monaco
Now ITV seemed to have ditched their mobile studio for this season, are we going to be treated to the sight of JR,Blundell and Jardine doing the pre show from a yacht while trying not to throw up over the side.
Presentation has definatly slipped this year in line with the reduced sponsorship budget. I just hope they get a bloody good sponsor for the next few years otherwise F1 on ITV will just sink into the |

The programme has a budget and is made out of that. Money from sponsorship goes onto ITV's bottom line - and is not linked directly to a programme. |

They will use the balcony they usually use i expect from near the Rascasse area....
although , maybe they should bring back the yacht as we at least need some entertainment this year. |

Well, I don't think it was attempting to be geniune...more a "The Onion"-esque parody!

Simon Taylor is quite clearly the man when it comes to motorsport publishing. He is Mr Haymarketing.

Well - I too maybe will get to sit on a yatch in the harbour at Monaco this weekend. Let's hope it doesn't rain - one wouldn't want to get water in the Claret.
If by sheer luck the next door boat was the ITV one I'll do a moon behind Jardine and The Count. That'll make three Huge Jarce's on TV. |

I will!
Just trying to work out how to make clothes bought at ASDA look like designer labels! And, I trust there is a kebab van somewhere near the circuit as most of the pennies have been spent on flights. Anyway should be fun! Last edited by Hugh Jarce; 18 May 2004 at 21:20. |

Simon Taylor should replace James Allen.
Anyway - I prefer the roaming coverage in F1 - it's nice to see them standing chatting in the paddock and Rubens walks past, you know? And I'm absolutely sure I saw Al Pacino munching on something in the McLaren motorhome in Spain. What ITV need to do to improve their coverage is get in a decent team of presenters (bar Brundle - he's actually good) and reevaluate the dross that they put out of a weekend. |
