Tony George: In Disguise!
Last weekend we reported that Tony George was in attendance of the Champ Car event at St. Petersburg, however we received many emails from fans that were at the event and never saw Tony George (the IRL CEO). Well, get this! Tony George was at the event "in disguise" wearing baggy pants, with a beard, and a hat! This is the President and CEO of the Indy Racing League, coming to a Champ Car event, and having to come in disguise! These are actions of not only of a childish behavior, but really, of a thief.
Don't worry, we got pictures too, and they will show up here at Champweb, hopefully in a few days, so stay tuned! Champweb |

Love it. Tony loves his Champcar and will do anything to get along to the events.

Let's wait until pictures then. However, they shouldn't be online "hopefully in a few days", they should be online right now. Right after the race.

So they mean something like this ...... Removed picture because it was inappropiate and potentially offensive to some members - Jordi Last edited by Jordi; 2 Mar 2003 at 22:43. |

I hope this level of censorship continues when Rush1 comes over for a few broadsides at Cart.

An likeness a little less offensive for our more sensative and less power hungry viewers. Trust me, you missed nothing before. |

I guess I'm just a bit offended because some of my friends grow beards that would make them look like young Bin Ladins because of their faith. They're actually some of the nicest people I know.
PS Jordi, sorry I missed you guys on MSN...was out. |

Jay, in the second instance the joke was on TG demostrating how much he might have to dress up to get anywhere near a Cart event.
If that's offensive then I apologise and Jordi can yank the whole thing no arguments. |

TG probably should have kept the disguise for todays race!! I just enjoy the fact that the Champ Cars put on a great show and us true fans know that.
