LMP1/LMP2 Question
Am I right in thinking that LMP1 and LMP2 chassis are fundamentally the same? In other words, could I drop a Nissan twin-turbo V6 into a Courage C65, ballast it up to weight and run it as an LMP1?

Its tub would have to be crash tested at the correct weight, but yes, pretty much. There are minor details (mechanical linkages required in P2 for example) that you could change...
