SevenGrain should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Townsend Bell Will Make CART Debut in Europe

Pat Patrick will be bringing a third car along for Townsend Bell to run at the two CART Races in Europe. Bell has tested well with Patrick both at Mid Ohio and Chicago.

It seems that the original plans were to leave Moreno behind and have Bell pilot Roberto's car, but the Vancouver results changed those plans.

Patrick Racing Technical Director Ed Nathman, who also serves as Jimmy Vasser's race engineer, will move over to work with Bell, while Technical Coordinator Mike Sales will step in as chief mechanic. Sales, was the chief mechanic for Raul Boesel in 1996 and Adrian Fernandez in 1997 and 1998, before being elevated to his current position. The crew will consist of existing Patrick Racing team members plus some members of Dale Coyne's team.

A decent showing in these two races should pretty much seal the deal for next season with Patrick Racing.

good luck to him ..hes gonna need it...and thank you Pat Patrick on not dropping one of your drivers...just doesnt make sense to leave Moreno at home and give the car to a rookie when Roberto is on a roll but common sense has prevailed.

we wait in anticipation to see how he goes.

It does look like Bell may get that ride with Patrick. This could be the death knell for PacWest. They may end running a one car team next year if they can keep Scott Dixon and racing one car makes it tough to search out alternate setups.

Marcus- he was last on the grid because there was no qualifying, thus it went on championship points.
