Well, Montoya will have the inside for turn 1. Schu will be well in the pack and on the outside. It's looking very good indeed from a Championship perspective.

The championship is alive & well after that qualifying session, i must say i'm dissapointed by both Trulli's & Webber's times as i thought with what they had both shown over the weekend to date they were both in for a good starting position for the race.

The title chase gets even "mo betta". Hopefully the results are close to the qualifying order so the chase goes down to the final lap in Suzuka.

The title chase has really hotted up with this. All those permutations.
If (IF!) it ended in this order then this will be hte championship order afterwards: KR 85 MS 84 JPM 84 |

JPM needed to do better. Not only does he have a wild card along side him, in Panis, but he's also on the wrong side of the track.

I am sure OP is light. He even hinted that their strategy is "different". Its all about publicity...

I think he was, his straight line and first and last sectors certainly don't suggest he's heavy.

I can't help thinking that so far what's happened at Indy has shown that Ferraris tyre protest has proved to be incorrect and fruitless. In this weeks Autosport Montezemolo was quoted as saying that at Budapest there was a Renault and a Jaguar in front of them, so something was wrong. Well, there should have been 2 Renaults and a Jaguar in front of MS today, only poor driver performance stopping that.

Marky boy, are you suggesting it was Ferrari's plan to have Schu sitting P7? |

No not at all. But there is alot to think about
USA would have to be the longest pitlane sooooo less stops would be advantagous . If you did run heavy S2 would kill you in lap times but a heavy car can help on a long straight Saying that MS still must have been a tad untidy P7 is still not the best unless you are one stopping then its hot ps I'm not disscussing Mark's run so there! |
