2014 Subaru WRX
Turns out the prototype was right there in clear sight.
I'm looking forward to the WRX, although I'm sure the general opinion will be very polarised... |

Sorry to go slightly off-thread already, but I've noticed that more and more road cars resemble the concepts on which they're based.
Range rover evoque for instance.(D'yer reckon Posh can pronounce that?).I just wondered how many more there were that looked similar to the original artist's impression. I remember the Sierra when it was introduced, but it wasn't as "blobular" as the concept. All artist draughts look like some boy-racer's wet dream, with wheels so huge they look like you'd need a ladder to get in the door. (You'll all come up with a huge list now, to make me look a fool). |

They've all been ugly, and I speak as someone who has owned five Imprezas and three Legacies.
I could be tempted by the current 2011 model WRX STI saloon. Enough tweaks were made to make it a better car all round than the 2008 330S hatch I had. But for one fatal flaw - apart from initial purchase price it costs as much to own and run than a BMW M3. (There's also a second fatal flaw for me now - my long time local Subaru dealer has gone!) |

Looks like an abomination akin to those produced by Chrysler.
Shame, I'm a huge Subie fan, but this Impreza and the current sedan are terribly ugly in my opinion. At least there's still the BRZ... |

The name on...
This Clip ..is '2015 WRX' although it is being released here in Australia in Q3/4 2014... It looks like they welded an old Liberty/Legacy nose on the current Impreza... Wonder if it goes any better... I LOVED my '98 WRX... it was just so quick... all the time... except when the weather was really warm... pity the ram raider who pinched it liked it more
