2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Round 5: Food City 500, Bristol Motor Speedway
after the week off and plenty of time to discuss a certain incident, we can now get back to what we like to see; real racing, short track racing, that is, and perhaps my second favorite race of the year, besides the Bristol fall night race.
ENTRY LIST Waltrip in the #55 for McDowell. everyone else is the same-ish. Jayski's Bristol Race Page Q'ing is 340pm est Friday Race is a little after 100pm est Sunday Don't forget to make some picks for the NASCAR Cup Pick 'em Comp, courtesy of rustyfan: http://tentenths.com/forum/showthread.php?t=121412 |

just check the weather and we might have to wait a extra day as that forecast has a word that ovals hate. Thuderstorms. now here is a question for both Open Access 3 & Sky (highlights are due Monday but if it is rained off then want can Sky do) and Open Access 3 might have to try again Monday if that weather forecast is right

My Favourite 08 moment was when Courtney/Besnard comeback drive at Bathurst. Courtney raced through to dominate the opening stint had 15 sec. gap to Lowndes who was in 2nd. In the 2nd stint a slowly deflating tyre (originally diagnosed as a damaged anti-roll bar) slowed Besnard's stint in Courtney's car allowing Whincup to assert dominance over the field rest of the race. On lap 160 S.Richards, fading badly on rear tyres was unable to stop Courtney move into 3rd place. |

Bristol. Oh, yeah.
If only it hadn't be repaved, but still it is awesome. Both it and Martinsville are 100% on my bucket list. I still can't quite get my head around how a half-mile oval can have an 160 000 capacity: everytime I see the bird's eye view of the place, especially the night race, it just blows my mind. Also, how can a half-mile blast around at 130mph? It doesn't make sense, I tell you! Awwwooooogggaaaa!!!! |

just check again and the race could have some showers which trigger either a yellow or a red and i know it must pass the halfway mark or we might be waiting for a extra day

Stock cars similar to Nationwide ones I think. You can view the wreck here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGsrdQfLSz8
