#7 FCR drive available
With the sad departure of AJ to Nascar it now leaves an open spot at FCR in 2007.
Who do we think Gerald will choose to fill the seat. After what PT has shown this year its going to be a pretty important decision as it might determine the teams chances of competitiveness next season. Andrew Ranger would be my call. |

Team Canada? possibility.. he brings some sponsor money too.
How about Andreas Wirth...was he already confirmed for a possible 3rd car?...and what about that other American with personal Red Bull sponsorship doing?...Buddy Rice ....the Indy 500 champ is still looking for a ride. Although he would defintley need to test first. I would like to see Timo Glock back...his sticking point was to be with a top team..he would bring DHL. The guy has what it takes for sure...given what he did with a Rocketsports car. |

An Australian motor racing magazine today wrote that Justin Wilson has been talking to FCR.
Intruiging if true. I would propose if NHR cant get together the $$$ that FCR approach Rahal to run. One American for another. |

Buddy Rice could be a nice addition. I think he was over looked a bit when in Atlantics. He had a great 2004 IRL season but since then he has been poor. TBH I don't see what he would bring to the team.
I hope Forsythe have a 3 car team and not just Tracy and Wirth. Why not Hicncliffe? I guess you could say he has a wide outside chance maybe as he is in their atlantic team and did quite well this year? |

Hinch needs another year in atlantics, no dispute about that.
Rice I would think would be a long shot. He's been out to sea for 2 years. I say Andrew Ranger would be a good pick. I also would not be surprised by Wilson going to Forsythe. |

Re-sign Tagliani? After all, with Pagenaud looking likely to use his $2m to drive for Team Australia, that would leave Tag without a drive.

Buddy Rice in at FCR, that makes me feel better now. And MJ may drive a 3rd FCR car at Mexico, I so do hope that happens. Maybe Forsythe will have a 3 car team all next year(doubt it but it would be great) Now we just need to have Ryan Hunter Ray get a ride somewhere

Yeah. Also great news IMO that there may even be a 3rd car driven by Michel Jourdian Jr.

I'm not so sure that Buddy Rice is the top guy for the job. It's true that his team hasn't been strong in the last couple of years, but his performances relative to his teammates haven't been that strong either. That said the series needs at least one American in a good team who can compete at the front. I don't think that Rice is a Bourdais killer, but he's probably not a bad option.

That's disappointing - don't rate Rice at all. There are much better prospects for that gig.

For this round the replacement had to be an American. It seems this will be the perfect evaluation of whether Rice can bring it in a Champ Car. Personally I think this is one of the better decisions Gerald has made in a while. |

It looks as if David Martinez is in the 3rd Forsythe car for Mexico City.
