Reine Wisell

It's not a good month - Reine Wissell died on 20 March , aged 80 - older than I'd thought . One of the first F1 drivers I saw in action in 1971 , at the wheel of the Lotus 56B gas turbine car

A man who gave fellow Swede Ronnie Peterson a run for his money in F3. A case of what might have been. Also had a cool hairstyle to boot!

Not only that a man who was an instructor at IIRC Karsloga and Ronnie was a temporary pupil wanting to get into F3 in the sixties, prior to Reine winning the Swedish F3 title.
