I wish.... I really wish.... But, be sure tell everyone in the Cart forum about your trip - be detailed.

Elkhart Lake, that's Spa in Wisconsin. Mario made the statement that you had to have balls to race at Elkhart Lake. Great brats, too.

I know you can get to Sheboygan with plane, rail or bus. I don't know about getting to the track from Sheboygan. Check with Road America: (920) 892-4576.

Jay, I can pick you up in Sheboygan if you need. Let me know as soon as possible.

I'll leave Eau Claire at 17h00 this afternoon. I'll have my laptop with me at the track, and I will be checking Ten Tenths out, but the sooner you catch me the better (I need to be at the track at 6h30 tomorrow morning).

Cheers,

Hey, JCClausen,

Believe it or not, I ate no brats today!

Note for those living in other countries, Wisconsin is state where a good part of the population has Germanic ascendence - and there are many Scandinavians and Polish folks too. Eating bratwurst in outdoor events is as Wisconsian as decorating your front porch with a Green Bay Packers flag. There is a town in Wisconsin that organizes "Bratolympic Games" every summer. And Elkhart Lake has the best brats amongst all tracks in the world - Nurburgring and Salzburgring included.

You reminded me of last year's Milwaukee race - a friend of mine (kinda large guy) had six brats for lunch... And the brats are big here!

Actually I was so busy running the track up and down that I had no lunch whatsoever. It was a very hot and dry day, and I drunk at least five liters of water (and some Mike's Hard Lemonade too).

Look out for pitcures to be posted mid-next week.

Cheers,

Maybe next year, Muzza. Either that or I'll try to meet you in Cleveland. For the first time in eleven years, I didn't get to a race this season. Can't let that happen again next year. But now that I think about it, maybe Elkhart would be more fun because of the camping-aspect. In years past I've found that the Saturday night campground can be as much fun as the Sunday event!
