As Paul Tracy's return led to Mario Dominguez losing his drive he has replaced him in those teams who had Mario. Jan Heylen also replaced Matt Halliday.

Despite not scoring any points Team Prodrive keep the lead with a comfortable lead of 17 points. They were helped by Team Tiger Racing been unable to capitalize on the leaders misfortunes as they were too busy with their own misfortunes.
