Octagon - good or bad??
What does anyone think about the way Octagon are gathering up all the circuits, clubs etc. Will they be good for the sport or just milk it.
I've been unpleasantly surprised by test day fees. Up to 2 quid a minute if you're on track all of the allowed time. Anybody know what fees are going to be this year??????? |

octagon are the worst thing that ever happened to brands hatch, all the money is being spent on silverstone and all other venues are being swept aside. this is o.k if you can afford to go to a Grand Prix but what about us who enjoy the bread and butter sport at a lower level.?

I know its run by Brits.
Rob Bain is MD and took over Brands from the Foulstons. Became Octagon as a result of Silverstone deal. |

Not the biggest of fans...
Octagon are ruining the circuits they own... god help if they get their hands on anymore. I know its a business but they are screwing both teams and spectators for money.
Brands is deteriorating whilst Silverstone is showing all the benefits of good funding. Had many a bad experience... hopefully sometime soon they will start putting money back into Brands and struggling circuits alike. At least that way everyone wins |

anyone know how much season tickets for octogon were last year(2001). I know its £100 for bikes and £100 for cars this year. Postage for tickets has gone up to £1.50 and if you want tickets for several events they have to issue them seperately, nice way to fleece punters. Kaybee posted that octogon were a american company well need i say more
PROFIT 1 PUNTERS 0 P.S me and the wife are at nearly every meeting at brands we allways stand between paddock and hailwoods takeing snaps with my trusty old olympus if you see us say hello. |
