The Best & The Worst of 2001
The Best:
 A tie. Cracker Barrel 500/Atlanta. Kevin's win over Jeffie. Pepsi 400/Daytona. Jr's win & celebration in the infield. The worst:  Obviously- DE's death on the last lap of the biggest race of the year. |

Worst: Earnhardt's death in the season opener.

I do have to agree about the Joe Gibbs thing. But the other two were such emotional wins......I LOVE Tony- so I ceratainly won't object to putting it up there.

I like Bobby- I respect him. But I am a Tony fan! I like him for his Agressive driving, his openness & honesty & mostly for his meanness!
I have always liked them mean! LOL. Heck- I was a DE fan for years! |

These are my personal best's & worst's...
TIE for best...finally being at a race that one of my fav's...DJ or Matt won. The July race at New Hampshire where DJ won!!! & finally getting the chance to meet DJ at Michigan in August. (meet Matt a zillion times already...his family only lives 20 miles away from me )worst...landing at the Milwaukee airport after coming back from Florida and finding out that Dale Earnhardt was dead. My brother told me over the phone...all the other ppl on our flight that were at Daytona also had no idea either until I told them. |

Best- Safty regulations that will protect our drivers. Worst- So many injuries & even death. DE- Steve Park- Injured crew members & officials. |
