The 1 one helmets are always fun, there have been a few of these in F1.

Rubens in 94 head senas helmet colours where his helmet is normally red, and in 2000 had the Brazilian flag on it too.
Diniz changed the Orange arrows on his helmet to Brazilian flag coloured arrows for Brazil 99 I think.
Michael and Ralph change their helmet from the german flag to the USA flag for the US GP each year, and in pre-season testing they wore half Michael Helmet, half ralph helmet to show they supported each other.
Bergers Flags and no War helmet in 95 was interesting, as was Montoyas 1 off helmet in Brazil.
Michaels one of 98 chrome helmet was cool too. Truli had the "no war - peace" helmet which had that phrase on the back of his helmet for the USA GP. I think the best 1 off helmet change has to be in 97 in Herez with Irvine changing the Marlboro logos and liverly on his helmet to Shumacher WDC 1997 to wind up JV, I like that lots of fun.

the year which Alesi used the white helmet with Orange crown (the year after he used the chrome sauber helmet) was quite cool and unsual,

yes it was Brazil 1999 diniz wore his special helmet celebrating the 500 year of Brazilian discovery.

Also I forgot Jos Verstappen in 2000 wore a special Dutch helmet to support the dutch football team in euro 2000

Senna's helmet (oh err) sticking out of the black JPS Lotus always looked super cool.

Call me crazy, but I always liked Graham and Damon Hill's helmets. Don't know why I do?

as far as i was aware this was because they were testing a new helmet and only one was available at the time so it was done up in a half and half livery.
