Mclaren showed how could they could be but poor day for Oscar in a car that should have been able to overtake slower cars without much effort

I wobbled slightly on this one. Should I give it to Ferrari for having two cars moving forward from their grid positions and both looking pretty race. But the grid positions were down to them, so no. The McLaren (especially in the hands of Norris) was the class of the field, both in qually and the race. So I joined the majority.

How would you figure Norris to be the class of the field when he was beaten by his teammate?

No one is saying Norris is the class of the field, just that he's a very handy driver

I think you're reading this wrong. This is the DUTCH GP thread. Pole by 3.5 tenths and winning by 22.8 seconds is "class of the field" in my book.

Thanks for picking up that I was being misquoted, when I didn't notice myself. However the main point is that this is the Dutch GP thread and Skam was looking at results from the Italian GP.
