Help needed
I'm looking for as much info as I can get and any pics that anyone has of this car.
Its a Ford of Germany built mk5 Cortina XR6 rally car. And thats about as much as I know really. Any help is much appreciated.

First of all call it a Ford Taunus instead of a Ford Cortina before you continue your search for info.
 It was build in the late 1970s and early 1980s till it was replaced by the Ford Sierra from 1982 on.

Actually this particular car is the one I was interested in and it is only badged a Ford Taunus S for local need, as I said the actual car is built on a South African Ford Cortina XR6 body shell, allowing them to use the 5 linked rear suspension fitted to it rather than the european system.
Sorry for the confusion it's this ACTUAL car K:LM 124 I am interested in.

Is it possible to read the two names on the door? Do they read Michael Werner and Egon Meurer? They used to drive a Works Group 1b Ford Taunus with a 3.0S engine in the German Rally Championship of 1981/1982. The car was dubbed "Rallyetaxi". Possibly turbocharged with 246bhp…
