2022 ADAC GT Masters calendar:
  • April 22-24: Oschersleben
  • May 20-22: Red Bull Ring
  • June 24-26: Zandvoort
  • August 5-7: Nürburgring
  • August 19-21:– Lausitzring
  • September 23-25: Sachsenring
  • October 21-23: Hockenheim
No clashes with the GT World Challenge Europe.

[ z |vo ] Racing is a new Team from former DTM-driver Jörg van Ommen and Zakspeed-Co-Teamboss Philipp Zakowski. They´ll be running a Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the ADAC GT Masters.

Yes! Philipp left at the end of october Zakspeed and missed the last GT Masters-Events before aswell.

Peter is son of founder Erich Zakowski and I think Philip is indeed Peter's son.

Philip was only for two years at Zakspeed. Together with Jorg van Ommen he has now his own racing team.

After all, it's his father's team. If you can run your father's team together with your brother that would mean something?

Now he leaves and creates a team with a stranger?

(A stranger: I mean someone out of the family, not someone unknown)

So this was the last season for Phoenix Racing in the current form. The team of Ernst Moser has sacked all employees. However half of them return to Mosers new team that will focus on customer motorsport.
