Is that an average size grid for ALMS? Can't believe there's no competition for the Corvettes in GT1 and only the Creation taking the fight to the Audis in LMP1!

It's average for this season so far, but it's supposed to improve by quite a few entries as we go on...

On the Motors TV coverage of Monza the commentators were talking as though Aston returning to the ALMS after Le Mans was a done deal, with Audi coming to the LMS (team unknown).

Seems my T. Bergmeister comments from the Long Beach thread were on the money, huh? It's interesting what having no TV, and thus watching timing and scoring the whole race, tells you about the individual drivers.
Janis is going to be scorching - and driving a 430 for Ecosse occasionally will help him have more time in the chassis. Enge/Janis for some of the late ALMS races once Tomas is better would be a phenomenal lineup. PS: It's Muller, not Mueller... D.Muller would be most accurate, though I guess there's not much chance for confusion here. Unlike last year's WTCC with D. Muller, J. Muller and Y. Muller! |

By the way, I know the semantic point is with reference to the powers that be on the official entry list - I just thought they deserved a little haranguing for their errors...

From the damage sustained during the crash behind the safety car? They also spun at Laguna while behind the safety car... |

Since they will change to a Creation from SLC on I guess they didn't want to spend any more money on this car. Why spend money on repairs for just 1 race.

I still don't see how much damage they could have that couldn't merely be fixed with a spare nose.
At least, I HOPE they have spare noses... |
