ganda123 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Can someone please give me some information about the new European Touring Car Championship because quite frankly I haven't got a clue. What circuits will it visit, what will the cars be like - similar to BTCC ones or faster? And have we any idea who's entering? I know about Volvo for 2002, but that's about it...
Thanks

There are 2 championship, Super Touring (as BTCC 2000) and Super Production (NSC, Class B, etc), running as seperate races - 2 races for ST, 1 for SP.

Apr 01 - Monza, Italy
Apr 16 - Brno, Czech Republic
May 01 - Magny-Cours, France
May 13 - Silverstone, England
May 20 - Zolder, Belgium
Jul 01 - Hungaroring, Hungary
Aug 26 - A1-Ring, Austria [To be confirmed]
Spe 09 - Nurburgring, Germany [To be confirmed]
Sep 30 - Jarama, Spain
Nov 21 - Estoril, Portugal

JAS should be running one or two semi-works Accords. Nordauto are running 2 semi-works Alfa 156's

There's FIA GT's, FPAudi, Historic Sports on the same bill. According to Motoring News we could get the German V6 Beetle series as well.

Yet another 'must see' package... all they need to add to top that lot off is a round of the FIA Truck Racing series

Picko Troberg...the manager of a certain Swedish touring car driver - hmmm...
I thought he had stopped managing his team as he had a heart attack or something?

Nah, it stopped him from historical racing but not from running his team. Three 2000 BTCC Vauxhalls or Opels as we say here in the rest of Europe is what he has bought to run in the STCC or even the ETCC

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but in the outskirts of London there's a place called Vauxhall...
