Alfa vs BMW
The works Alfa Romeo and BMW squads went head to head with the first running of their 2002 spec cars, the Alfas were in the hands of champion Givonardi and Larini, with Kox and Jordi gene driving the BMW's complete with new rear wings. The alfa were faster, with a best time of 1min 41 sec lap from Larini. This year looks like it could be better than 2001 with Alfa and BMW giving nothing away to their opponents.
