Morning Guys
I hope I could perhaps interest you in having a look at Khamsin Virtual Race Car Challenge. It is a virtual race car competition which requires you to create a car within the specified rule book using software like Google Sketchup. We then use CFD to compare each model and put that information into a virtual track simulator to get a lap time. This gives us the results for each race. We do roughly 6 races a year with a decent period of time between each race for updates. All cfd results are available for you to download. Last year our rule book was F1 and was a very successful year. The winner of the overall championship got a 3d print out of there car. This year the rule book is an open version of LMP1. I hope many of you will take a look a round and register your interest. http://www.khamsinvirtualracecarchallenge.com/ Thank you Luke ps sorry if i posted this in the wrong place |

Very crazy idea! I like it. Always wanted something like this.
Will have a little browse later. Not sure I have the time and/or knowledge of Sketchup, though! Selby |
