Tires (nothing to do with tread or compound!)
I know at the start of the season Minardi had Avon tires for testing and spent most of the first half of the season on Bridgestone 2002 spec tires. I hear that BAR have only just got the 'new' Bridgestones that Ferrari have been running for quiet a while and the reason that BAR where up with MS at Hungary was because BAR did hundreads of laps whereas Ferrari broke down thus Bridgestone where forced to us the BAR set-up and data. Does Michelin do this as well and if so is this not unfair on lesser teams who have enough trouble with engines and chassis plus the general money situation without substandard tires.

As far as i'm aware, Michelin make different tyres for the top 3 teams, and the others get the choice of the compounds.
