Good to see some entries being confirmed nice and early - hopefully there are plenty more GT3 cars to come and a bit more variety. British GT must surely be a bit of an oddity in so much as there is a lack of Porsche, Ferrari and Audi cars - the absence of R8's in particular is strange as that's been a very effective GT3 car for years now.

Yeah lack of Audis is an odd one but if there was less Astons and Bentleys then maybe there’d be more Audis instead. A Ferrari would be nice-what’s Hector Lester up to these days?

Good to see a new car in GT4 with the Mustang. Be interesting to see how it goes.

Expect some news about Finlay Hutchison as well this week, wouldn't be surprised to see him step up to GT3, but which car/team..?

Tuesday morning will see a GT4 announcement.
Wednesday & Friday more GT3 announcements.

That’s pretty cool to see the Mustang outside of the States for a full season. Hope to see a Stang down here at some stage.

Nice to see a GT4 team step up!

Wonder if Tolman will step up too considering their relationship with Mclaren last year

Heres the grid so far

GT3 - 8 Cars

TF Sport - Aston Martin Vantage GT3 - Mark Farmer / TBA
TF Sport - Aston Martin Vantage GT3 - Graham Davidson / Jonny Adam
Barwell Motorsport - Lamborghini Hucacan GT3 - Sam De Haan / Jonny Cocker
Barwell Motorsport - Lamborghini Huracan GT3 - Adam Balon / Phil Keen
Beechdean AMR - Aston Martin Vantage GT3 - Andrew Howard / Marco Sorensen
Ram Racing - Mercedes AMG GT3 - Ian Loggie / Callum Macleod
Century Motorsport - BMW M6 GT3 - Jack Mitchell / Adrian Wilmott
Team ABBA Racing - Mercedes AMG GT3 - Richard Neary / Adam Christodoulou

GT4 - 9 Cars

TF Sport - Aston Martin Vantage GT4 - Alex Toth-Jones / TBA
Optimum Motorsport - Aston Martin Vantage GT4 - Connor O'Brien / TBA
Beechdean AMR - Aston Martin Vantage GT4 - Kelvin Fletcher / Martin Plowman
Race Performance - Ford Mustang GT4 - Sam Smelt / TBA
Balfe Motorsport - McLaren 570 GT4 - Michael O’Brien / Graham Johnson
Multimatic- Ford Mustang GT4 GT4 - Scott Maxwell / Billy Johnson
Multimatic- Ford Mustang GT4 GT4 - Sebastian Priaulx / TBA
Century Motorsport - BMW M4 GT4 - TBA / TBA
Century Motorsport - BMW M4 GT4 - TBA / TBA

So already 8 cars in GT3, with a bunch of big questions over the following:

Team Parker - 2x Bentleys this year, but the Mcleod / Loggie combo have moved on to a merc, and Rick Parfitt Jnr has retired... So they need to find two moe paying AM's to fill those seats...

RJN - One Nissan this year, with Nissan slimming down support for RJN in Blancpain, its hard to tell yet weather that makes it more or less likely to see a return in British GT

Jetstream, had a breakout first season this year, so im sure we are likely to see them back likely with a new aston.

ERC - Honestly no clue on this merc...

Balfe - Well they have announced their GT4 car with Graham Davison back at the wheel after testing the GT3 at this years finale. Who knows where that leaves Shaun Balfe, and Mike Robinson... Cant see Mclaren not entering a GT3 this year though.

Finally, Tolman- who entered three GT4s this year and strengthened ties with Mclaren at the same time. Maybe we see a single or pair of 720s GT3's here, with Joe Osborne looking set to keep his factory status for 2019...

So that is looking like we could see 13-16 or so GT3s this year, should be a nice mix with all the GT4's
