Clive Brown RIP
Sad news. Just heard from David Enderby that ace Imp engine builder in the Seventies and Eighties, Clive Brown, passed away to-day. Clive cut his teeth working for George Bevan during those successful days of the early Seventies, and went on to build powerful and reliable Imp racing engines for many years. Unfortunately he suffered severe injuries in an accident at home a few years ago, and I understand that his health has been deteriorating for some time. Clive provided me with super engines and taught me a number of things during my own early years in motor racing. Top bloke.

That is SO SAD.
Clive gave me such support during my early years with my Lola's history, invaluable help and always correct. So very sorry to read this. |
