Playseat and the new Logitech G25

Ok, so I'm a racing/gaming geek. I have a Playseat - www.playseats.com - I hook up my Driving Force Pro and plug it into either my PS2 or PC and race GTR or GT4 when I've got the time.

Well, Logitech is of course going to release their new G25 - http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/pr...ONTENTID=11867 - and it's going to have this separate 6-speed/sequential shifter unit that looks like it won't fit on my current Playseat.

So I wrote them and asked if they'll have an accessory to accommodate the shifter. Here's their response: "Even better! We come up with a new Playseast version - to be released in October - on which we designed a special accessory for the G25 gearshift."

So, instead of a simple add-on, sounds like they might be trying to get us to buy a whole new set-up. Hopefully I'm wrong and I can just get - or make - something to hold the shifter.

I actually am looking forward to that, October eh? Might get it later next year when the price drops. But it looks stunning, heard good things about it form tests aswell. Wont bother with the playseat though. Just need a wheel for GTR2

Ive been practising clutch movements with my feet for this new wheel. Because I just love the felling of pressing the clutch, then pulling back the gear knob!
