Some good shots in there.
I'm also 18 and Goodwood is all about the older cars you just can't see anywhere else. My own galleries live here: http://owainshaw.fotopic.net |

I liked your FOS galleries Owain. Quite a stare Jensen Button has there.

Yes, great shots Owain! I saw those Martini lines and tried to do the same shot but you made it work.

Martini certainly knew a thing or two about making distinctive liveries. |

Some nice shots there. Though, for me the fantastic thing about the FOS is the amazing mixture of vehicles - a chance to see things you wouldn't normally go to see. Still, perhaps like me you'll discover that the more you find out about motorsport , the more you like the earlier stuff. I never used to look twice at the vintage cars from the early part of the century but when you think that they were racing these things at up to 100mph, from one end of the country to the other on unmade roads - you realise how brave the drivers were. It's interesting to trace the development of the technology too - not to mention the quirky non starters like the propeller car.
Owain - great shots again - nice to see so much black and white too. It really works well if the weather's a bit grey. The mist is wonderful on the rally stage. |

I did think I might have got a bit carried away with the Black and White over-powering the lesser number of colour but, I decided I don't really care as long as I like each photograph as it is. The mist did give a nice mood ... kept the place quiet too! I have a few ... issues (not "of What Car? magazine") to sort out but, I'll make sure to give your Le Mans galleries the time they deserve when I can. |
