Wow, I`m amazed that a meeting oozing with such quality is so short... Any prospective marshals wanting a little persuasion should check out the HSCC`s website page for the event here.....
http://www.hscc.org.uk/Brands%20Hatch%20GP%202006.htm Over 30 Supersports Cup entries at the last count, nearly 20 in the Group C, and huge entries everywhere else, including a good grid of F5000s and F1s in the Derek Bell Trophy. The 75 minute Enduro on Sunday night also promises to be a cracker with a Bizzarini, no less than 6 E-Type Jags, 2 Shelby Mustangs, 2 Cobras, 2 Corvettes and the Project 214 Aston as well..... Think Silverstone Classic but at a FAR better venue!!!! (And the weather`s set fair as well!). |

I'll be there, doing my usual. Probably both days, trying to convince my dad to go on the Sunday... mainly so I don't have to drive down twice!

I'd already pencilled this meeting in for the Sunday, but having seen the entry list I can't decide whether to go on the Saturday as well, or pop up to Snetterton for the AMOC meeting which is also on Saturday.

Thanks for the welcome, there is a wide range of topics covered throughout these forums and a lot of people who are knowledgeble about the sport which is interesting. I am new to following motorsport apart from watching F1 and reading the occasional Autosport.

I agree with Elio,
I'm really looking forward to this one. I hope the shortage isn't due to the problems you had on the full circuit, during the WTCC. Come on guys, the weather was a bit extreme, everywhere. I'm camping for the weekend and I promise good, warm weather all weekend , no need for shelter and a well organised meeting, as is the norm with the HSCC. |
