RaceTime should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Shameless request for beta testers

We need some remarkably patient people to test some new software RaceTime have been developing for the past few years.

Those that have used the web site will know of RaceView - when we started developing it, we also did some parallel development work on a stand alone PC based version of RaceView - the original intention being to allow it to also have access to live information.

This strategy was put on hold 18 months ago, but we have rekindled the project with a few changes being made to it. The Live Aspect will no longer be implemented (simply because of the refusal of other timekeepers to make information available during races!)

However, the Standalone RaceView will allow you to replay, view and do numerous other tasks on races.

One of the key aspects of the software is that we will be making available data for both new AND old races going back to 1994 (with DATA-1 information) and if required, back to 1985 for selected race meetings....

In addition, race data will be freely available through the RaceTime web site soon after a completed race meeting.

Whilst the software is relatively stable, there are some quirks with it as well as things that need to be done to make it more 'user friendly' (after all - *I* know what the program does - why doesn't everyone else?)

So - if you are interested - a private email please with contact details, a rough outline on how you think you can contribute to its development etc. racetime@racetime.com.au

This is intended as a commercial package ($100 or less) so I will be asking for an NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) of sorts to be signed. You will receive a free copy of it when it is finished, however.

(Craig - if you feel this isn't the place to ask, move it. Basically I just want some enthusiasts to help get this long standing project back off the ground)

If anyone is still interested in this, the software started testing tonight - spaces still open for anyone that wants in on it.
