Excuse me while I try to contain my rage.
There is no GP2 live coverage that I can see for the Saturday race. Just a half hour replay later on. Now then. That means a badly edited, poorly fashioned cut and shut job. This on the title deciding weekend. I want to kill myself. |

According to the Sky TV planner I have all they have scheduled is a 30 minute highlight package at 4pm. This doesent really suprise me, this is Eurosport after all. And hey, who wants to watch GP2 when Live Volleyball is on!

Fast Car Fast Driver, IMHO
Going back to the Istanbul debate...
I remember a few years ago Michael Schumacher would occasionally trim the rear wing of his Ferrari when he qualified further down the grid. It was quite obvious, because compared even to the cars of other teams on the grid, the difference was not subtle. When compared to his teammate it was ever more apparent. In terms of rear wing depth, there was no perceptible variation between Lewis' car and the others. At the previous race in Hungary we witnessed total domination by Piquet. During the first race I think he was about one second a lap quicker than anyone else? I don't remember any question marks raised over the legality of his car. Also both Premat and Negrao seem unable to exploit whatever advantage their cars may have. Again I don't recall any comments regarding Premat's supreme braking capability. If Hamilton and Piquet were out of the picture and their teams ran single cars, I doubt there would be any issues. In my opinion and echoing what was mentioned earlier in this thread, I believe its just a case of a very fast driver in a very fast car. As was shown on Sunday, combining the two will give the impression of a miraculous undertaking at best , at worst mutterings of oversized tunnels, hidden turbochargers, explosive rocket fuel and cheating . Regarding Glock's comments, he mentioned Lewis was "average" on Saturday. If he meant in comparison to Sunday... fair enough, although I wouldn't agree completely, if he meant otherwise I would totally disagree. Hamilton was pretty much fastest on Saturday also. Of course this is just my humble opinion. Cheers Obi |

remind them gareth, that their 'motorsport on eurosport, loads of it' advert for september had gp2 in there and that dopey highlights or full race delayed just wont do.

I just realised the slight clash between MotoGP and GP2 . Methinks I should upgrade to Sky Plus.

Yes, do. It is a godsend for motorsport fans.
It has it's frustrations, but all things do. |

i nearly broke my sky plus during the nurbergring race last year. i was watching and taping the live gp2 on eurosport and also taping the monaco itv show. the itv recording failed. i was ready for throwing the thing out the window! but yes, sky plus is very handy otherwise!

Bad news, I’m afraid. The Eurosport powers that be in Paris can’t/won’t change the schedule, so the coverage of this Saturday’s race at Monza stays in its original slot, as a delayed, ‘edited’ ½ hour broadcast.
At one point today it looked like good news when the race was given a better, longer slot, only for that to fall through. I’ll remain diplomatic and limit myself to saying that I’m thoroughly hacked off that what is likely to be the race that decides the championship is not being shown live or even in full. Anyway, let’s all hope that it goes right down to the wire and isn’t settled until Sunday’s race, which actually is being shown live and in its entirety….. |

*sigh* Never trust a product with "Euro" in the title. Do they think Lewis Hamilton is Lady Hamilton's descendant? Can't we tell them his name is really Louis Amilletonne?
Still, I should look forward to the steroids tournament in Poland. |

GP2 Monza NOT LIVE!
Eurosport go from bad to worse
Just 30 mins of highlights - which knowing eurosport will be dreadfully edited - on sat late afternoon race 2 is live though this is bery poor - on what is likely to be a hugely significant race for britsh motorsport |

I don't want to pay for more flipping tv thanks! I'd rather see it on terrestrial instead! Good info from Gareth though, cheers for that mate it's good to have an enthusiast (and ex racer to boot) sympathising with our plight! I juist can't countenance how they've scheduled this so poorly - was the decision made earlier in the year when it looked as though Lewis was long gone in the title race?! Surely the race could be shown live on one of the 3 channels? |

Now I wonder if a frenchman was leading the championship.....
seriously though, I think that Europsort gets paid to show some of the more obscure sports, so probably Volley Ball pays more that Gp 2 |

I only mention it as a possibility because my old man might still have it on his old utelsat system. I guess I shouldn't be too worried overall as if it's not on I won't have to record it as will be at Donington in the afternoon anyway. However my plan was to record Sunday;s morning race and/or the GP and watch it when I get home. Having saif that, it'll probably be decided sat afternoon making sunday's live race less important?! |

So am I right in saying it won't be live on Eurosport 2 either?
