Hello, folks! Welcome to the São Paulo round 4 of the 2012 Bet 'Em IndyContest. Rain can have a huge role in the race, so unlikely results are more likely and the power gap between the three engines can get less important.

You must pick six different drivers for the six bets:

The optimal bets were Power for the pole and $ 600, Franchitti or Rahal for the Fast Six and $ 1,000, Power for the win and $ 2,000, Sato for the podium and $ 12,000, Sato for the top 5 and $ 4,000, and Sato or Kimball for the top 10 and $ 1,200, totalling a maximum earning of $ 20,800. (Actually, you can't bet for Power for pole and win, or Sato for the podium and top 5.)

marcostraz picked Power for the pole and earned $ 600. For the Fast Six bet, mythoughtsareracing and marcostraz picked Franchitti and got $ 1,000, whereas NaBUru38 picked Rahal and also cashed $ 1,000. Most picked Power for the win and $ 2,000: mythoughtsareracing, Daisy, Chiana and WAT. Nobody hitted a podium climber or top 5 finisher. NaBUru38 chose Sato for the top 10 and earned $ 1,200.

So here's the 2012 Bet'Em IndyContest results São Paulo:

2nd - NaBUru38: 0 + 1,000 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 1,200 = 2,200

3rd - WAT: 0 + 0 + 2,000 + 0 + 0 + 0 = 2,000
6th - marcostraz: 600 + 1,000 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 = 1,600

Mythoughtsareracing ties Daisy with a second win. Picking Sato for a realtively safe top 10 saved my day.

Rather than poor performances by frontrunners, all of us had very poor criteria. There's a reason Newgarden pays 100 to 1! (Actually, we are betting $ 1,830, so all of us earned money at this round. I set high stakes in the IndyContest. I'm lucky that I don't send actual money! :P) That's why the total earnings barely changed.
