Independants
with touring cars being cheaper these days there is more and more independants coming in, I feel its swamped with indys and few Manafactuers its becoming more of a indy championship...
specially with teams running only 2 cars |

It is good to have a balance between them. If it is all manufacturers then you get gaps when a few big ones leave but with only two car teams they provide good quality independent cars so they look good and score well. This in turn means even if manufacturer support goes their are enough cars of x type to be supported in terms of parts and thus keeps the numbers and racing quality up.
