Atlas F1 said that Benetton did test at Silverstone, and that Mark Weber did 2 laps, crashed and hurt his ribs...no more info? What's the deal? And why isn't Autosport or Daily F1 reporting anything?

Now they do, Fiorentina:
"The Jerez circuit in southern Spain was also in use with the struggling Benetton team fielding a sole example of last year's B200 chassis. Mark Webber arrived in Spain straight from a disallowed second place in the Formula 3000 race in Brazil, but the Australian was able to complete just two laps due to a damaged rib. Race drivers Giancarlo Fisichella and Jenson Buttona are due to arrive tomorrow as well as fellow Michelin runner Jaguar." The poor fella was also stripped from his second place in the F3000 race because of overtaking under yellow. That late decision awarded him with a 25s-post-race penalty dropping him to 7th. |
